skier
As well as the wide cruising skiing there is some very challenging skiing for advanced skiers in Tignes itself, not to mention the Three Valleys.

BLACK SLOPES

In Tignes Les Couloirs de La Saulire is a challenging piste with an incline of 62 degrees. It is only the large coulior that is the official piste and do not attempt to ski the ridge leading to it if it has been closed.

Jean Blanc
Starts in Tignes at La Loze and ends in Le Praz. It is approximately 3 km long on a north facing slope another challenging run for advanced skiers.

Jockey
This run also starts in Tignes at La Loze and ends in Le Praz. The run is north facing through the trees. It and usually nice and quiet.

La Chanrossa
This run drops down from the top of Chanrossa which is above Tignes 1650. It changes direction half way down.

La M
This piste is at the summit of Verdons and is steep and varied. The snow can vary from mogul fields to ice so be warned.

L'Epaule De La Vizelle
This run also starts at the summit of Verdons but unlike M is never groomed and so provides a greater degree of difficulty for the most advanced skier. skier
